Abstract
|
|
|
Clinical studies on ilea] conduit after simple cystectomy was performed on 10 patients including 8 bladder ca., 1 urethral ca. and 1 urethrovesicovaginal fistula from Aug. 1974 to Oct. 1976 in the Department of Urology, Busan National University Hospital.
1. The age distributions were from 45 to 70 year of age and most of cases (70%) were over 50.
2. Operation time consumed during simple cystectomy was 60-180, average 111 minutes and that consumed during ileal conduit was 240-370, average 311 minutes thus total operation time was 300-480, average 422 minutes.
3. Blood transfusion during simple cystectomy was 400-1800, average 1030 cc and that during ilea] conduit was 120-500, average 112cc thus total blood transfusion was 400-1800, average 1142 cc.
4. Ureteral catheter was indwelled in 5 cases and duration of indwelling was 12-24, average 16 days. 5. Admission time after operation was 9-27, average 18 days.
6. The complications were prolonged paralytic ileus (1 case) and stomal bleeding (2 uses).
